Davenergy conducted an energy assessment at seven VA Medical Centers in upstate New York totaling 4,800,000 million square feet. The energy assessment included a building-by-building evaluation of existing conditions encompassing all major equipment/system types. Cost-effective energy and water conservation measures were identified that reduce utility consumption, costs, and the greenhouse gas footprint. ECMs identified resulted in 50,092 MMBtu and $761,859 savings in energy usage and cost, respectively. This is a 6% reduction in energy usage and a 7% reduction in cost.
