Davenergy conducted an energy assessment at eight VA Medical Centers in New York and New Jersey totaling 8,600,000+ million square feet. The energy assessment included a building-by-building evaluation of existing conditions encompassing all major equipment/system types. Cost-effective energy and water conservation measures were identified that reduce utility consumption, costs, and the greenhouse gas footprint. ECMs identified resulted in 267,494 MMBtu and $5,134,251 savings in energy usage and cost, respectively. This is a 16% reduction in energy usage and a 15% reduction in cost.
